Topic 1 of 12
#First response to any issue
| Symptom | Start here |
|---|---|
| Player looks offline | Player activity time, expected power state, then status or ping |
| Content did not change | Final target list, player collection activity, then visual verification |
| Deploy is disabled | Selected count, selected presentation and current dry-run state |
| Upload failed | Published output structure, exact error and platform storage |
| Remote tool failed | Recent player activity, status refresh, then a different read-only tool |
| Multiview is slow | Number of active Liveviews, grid size and individual tile states |
| Sign-in or control unavailable | Correct site, current account, verification and assigned permissions |
Topic 2 of 12
#Player is offline or overdue
- 1Check whether this event, temporary setup or permanent installation should currently be powered and connected.
- 2Open the player and compare its most recent activity times.
- 3Use a lightweight status or ping check if available.
- 4Compare with other players on the same venue network or installation.
- 5Escalate with the player label, location and timestamps if it remains unexpected.
Topic 3 of 12
#Player is missing from the list
- 1Clear the search box and every status, tag or group filter.
- 2Refresh the list once.
- 3Search using one known label or approved identifier.
- 4Check whether the player was renamed, removed or prepared under a different event tag.
- 5If it is still missing, confirm whether it was ever added to this BrightBridge instance.
Topic 4 of 12
#Release succeeded but playback did not change
- 1Confirm the player was included in the final target list.
- 2Check for fresh activity after the release time.
- 3Confirm the expected presentation is associated with the player.
- 4Use a snapshot or Liveview to compare visible output.
- 5Investigate only the affected targets instead of repeating the full release.
Topic 5 of 12
#Upload fails or preview is blocked
- Confirm the upload is complete published output.
- Read the exact upload or validation message.
- Check for a platform storage warning.
- Verify every selected player has the required basic information.
- Correct the identified condition, then run a fresh preview.
Topic 6 of 12
#Run Dry Run or Deploy is disabled
A disabled Deploy button is usually protecting an incomplete or stale plan. Find the missing requirement instead of trying to bypass the control.
Topic 7 of 12
#Dry run shows a warning you do not understand
- 1Do not deploy yet.
- 2Read the affected player and the full warning text.
- 3Open technical details only if the friendly explanation is not enough.
- 4Check the presentation, player model, rewrite options, variables and overwrite acknowledgement named by the warning.
- 5Correct the understood cause and run a fresh dry run.
- 6If the warning remains unexplained, capture safe context and ask the platform owner.
Topic 8 of 12
#Deployment is partial, slow or appears stuck
- 1Keep the page open while the job still says running.
- 2Read the per-player results; separate finished targets from pending or failed targets.
- 3Check recent activity for the affected players.
- 4Do not repeat the release to successful players.
- 5After the job reaches a final state, correct the cause and create a new targeted dry run for only the exceptions.
Topic 9 of 12
#Remote tool or Liveview fails
- 1Confirm the player has recent activity.
- 2Try a lightweight status refresh.
- 3If video fails, try a snapshot to separate visual streaming from general reachability.
- 4Close any abandoned session and start one fresh session.
- 5Escalate with the player label, tool, time and visible state message.
Topic 10 of 12
#Player-specific value is wrong
- 1Confirm the value shown for the intended player in BrightBridge.
- 2Check whether BrightBridge is meant to keep that value managed.
- 3Review the most recent content release preview.
- 4Run a targeted release only when a corrected value is approved.
- 5Visually verify the result after collection.
Topic 11 of 12
#Multiview is blank, slow or only partly working
- 1Read the selected and running counts.
- 2Check whether the affected tile is Empty, Clock, Fleet Health or a player source.
- 3Start one affected tile instead of restarting the whole grid.
- 4Open that player separately and try status or snapshot.
- 5Reduce active Liveviews, grid size or stream quality if the whole layout is struggling.
- 6Stop unused views when the check is complete.
